Our client is one of Australia’s leading resort operations and a newly created opportunity exists for a Senior Learning and Development Advisor to join the Learning & Development team. The role is based on island and will be responsible for the provision of cost effective and innovative learning and development solutions that support departmental objectives and meets business performance needs.

Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager you will coordinate the recruitment and the operations of various programs including the Intern program, Industry Placement Program, Graduate program and the Apprentice Program.

The role will require you to have a minimum of three years experience as a Learning and Development Advisor and you must possess a Certificate IV in Workplace and Assessment Training.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources practitioner to oversee the daily operation of the Human Resources function of this leading luxury hotel. Your responsibilities will include managing on a daily basis issues pertaining to expatriate compensation, benefits, expatriate services and relocation. In addition, recruitment and selection, counselling, performance management and managing grievance procedures will play a significant part of daily responsibilities.

Previous experience in a five star luxury hotel or resort environment is essential, and the successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in the Middle East market.
